THE SILICON VALLEY BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT METHOD
JONATHAN REICHENTAL
CIO - City of Palo Alto
In today's fast-paced world, techniques for executing on ideas that helps them to be realized quickly and with lower risk, are a real asset. Old methods of idea development are just too slow and too risky. In Silicon Valley, a popular approach to taking an idea to fruition is called the lean startup method. This is a discipline and set of principles that have helped many new ideas either make it successfully, or die quickly in order to avoid to much expense and time. This 2-hour workshop provides all the tools and steps for the student to use the lean start-up method for their next idea. The workshop will include a mix of lecture and student activities. Real examples and exercises will prepare the student for immediate application upon completion of the workshop.
